ALM Octane Reporting using OData
This webinar demonstrates some reporting tools for Microfocus’ ALM Octane using the OData (Open Data Protocol).
OData connectivity is built into tools such as Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Business Reports, and both of these tools are looked at in this recording.
The main benefit of this over simply extracting data directly from within Octane, is that once configured in Excel, these reports are dynamic. We can just hit refresh to get the latest data in the format we want (pivot tables, charts etc.) directly from the Octane Database.
